Policy || Statistics || Disability

Welcome to my site! I am currently working with the World Health Organization in the Blindness and Deafness Prevention, Disability and Rehabilitation Unit. I completed my Master of Public Policy and MSc in Applied Statistics at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. I have mostly been involved with disability advocacy and mathematical analysis in public policy and law. Ultimately, I want to use the power of mathematics to analyze and advocate for public policies that benefit the most marginalized among us.

Things I Like

A random amalgamation of things that make me happy. I hope you also like these things.

Lil Bub - I own an embarrassing amount of Lil Bub merchandise.

Kate Beaton's comics - She has lots of hilarious comics about historical figures, but this is one of my favorites. Really illustrates my life goals.

Nina Simone - no commentary necessary

Cooking - Here are a couple recipes for a delicious tomato soup and shrimp and grits (scroll down the story for the recipe). Both dishes will stick to your ribs, and you'll love every minute of it.

Slate's Political Gabfest podcast - Really smart and fun weekly political commentary. This is the show that got me in to podcasts, and now I listen to a ton of different shows a week. John Dickerson's historical "cocktail chatters" are priceless. (bonus thing I like: John Dickerson's instagram)

Stephen Merchant - Has me rolling every time. This is from The Ricky Gervais Show.
